BardoVR has created a six-minute prototype of AfterDeath which incorporates some of the visual elements and interactive modalities that will be used in the full-length version.
It was created with Unity game development software using pre-existing environments, characters, particle effects and audio clips. For the full version of AfterDeath original 3D art, audio and CGI effects will be created in Unreal Engine, based on the images, archetypes and interactivities suggested by the text of the Tibetan Book of the Dead.
While the full demo model is proprietary and confidential, we will be releasing screen-capture video clips to showcase the status of our development. Here are two of those clips (with accompanying audio):
